Fitness: You gotta get yourself a gangsta' physique, CJ! There are gyms all over the state, check out the classic muscle beach location at the Santa Maria beach. You can only workout so much per day, so if you want to work stamina and do some body sculpting on the bench, make sure you split your time evenly. Hand-to-hand attacks do more damage when you're ripped, so if you're having trouble defeating the fighting instructors at the gyms, max out your muscle before the fight.
Clothes: The clothes really do make the man in San Andreas. Head into any of the various clothing shops around San Andreas to buy clothes. If an article of clothing will increase your respect level, CJ will be excited about it when he tries it on. When you start the game, Pro-Laps, Binco and SubUrban are all available. Once you move to San Fierro, Zip opens. A Las Venturas move opens up Victim. And finally heading back to Los Santos opens Didier Sachs.
Vehicle Schools: Like the shooting range, it pays off to get a little training behind the wheel. There is a school available for every kind of vehicle in San Andreas except bicycles. Schools not only rapidly increase your vehicle statistics, they might actually teach you a thing or two you didn't know about vehicles in San Andreas!
